    Curious what the buzz is these days about Standars on using Image Maps, I haven’t seen them on any websites in a long time. Is it frowned upon to use Image maps like using Tables is?

    Hi Steve, thanks for the question. I personally don’t often use Image Maps. I prefer to use DIVs and Sprites to break up images that might need linking to different locations. It’s worth mentioning though that Image Maps are staying in HTML5, so they are perfectly fine to use in your website coding.
